1. Using PhishSonar

By using PhishSonar, you agree to these terms. PhishSonar is built as an educational project to help people recognize common phishing clues in emails.

2. No Guarantee of Safety

PhishSonar is an awareness tool, not a security filter:

• The app checks emails against a fixed list of rules. It can miss well-crafted scams and can sometimes flag normal messages.
• A "Low Risk" result does not mean an email is safe to trust.
• Always verify unexpected requests directly through an organization's real website or phone number before clicking links, opening files, or sharing sensitive info.

3. Acceptable Use

Please use PhishSonar responsibly. Do not try to break, overload, or misuse the site, and do not use it to test phishing templates meant to trick people.

4. Liability

PhishSonar is provided "as is" without warranties. The creators of this project are not responsible for any damages or losses that happen from relying on its results.
